My name is John Laymon III, I am a certified Social Studies Instructor, Principal, & School Counselor for the state of Texas. My educational background is in Political Science, Education, & Counseling.
Currently I am in a Performance Improvement Support role focused on the T-TESS Appraisal System. Prior to my current position I was a Dean of Instruction & Students for Furr High School, a district instructional coach focused on all subject levels 6-12th grade supporting curriculum design, pedagogy, & technology integration. Previously I also provided support to middle school students as a guidance counselor and prior to that position I was an Instructional Specialist in San Antonio for secondary social studies teachers. I have also been an IB Humanities instructor and campus-based IB coordinator.
